PDF is one of the most popular file formats due to its reduced size, safety, and compatibility with different operative systems, among other advantages.
7-PDF Split & Merge is, as its name implies, a program that allows you to split a PDF file into different parts. You can use it to extract each page of a file into an independent PDF file. Also, you can merge several files into one, and extract selected pages of a file.
The program is easy to use. You only need to open it and select the corresponding tab of the function you want to use. Then, you need to select the file to work with, as well as the output folder. Finally, by clicking on the corresponding button at the right bottom of the interface, the program will perform the selected operation.
In general, the program works fast but this will depend, of course on the speed of your system.
A disadvantage I found was that the interface looks cluttered and thus, it is not very intuitive. It also looks kind of boring, with no colors or graphics that would make it more pleasant to use.
The shareware version only allows you to merge up to 5 files. Also, if you need to work with PF files that are 50-page long or more, then you will need the Pro version, available at a cost on the developer's website.
